The colored transceiver is installed on AAU and DU, and the WDM function is completed by passive equipment through a pair or a single optical fiber to provide multiple connections between AAU and DU. GrenTech 10G and 25G colored transceiver and WDM cassette can be used in combination.
The corresponding WDM/OTN equipment is configured in the AAU station and the DU room. Optical fiber resources are shared by multiple front-haul signals through WDM technology. GrenTech provides 10G/25G short distance grey light transceiver matching this connection mode. 10G or 25G colored transceiver required in WDM/OTN equipment room also available at GrenTech.
