The data center architecture has been transferred from the traditional 3-tier architecture to the 2-tier flat architecture. In the data center adopting spine-leaf two-tier architecture, single-mode transmission is used between leaf and spine switches, and the transmission distance is greater than 500m. Multi-mode transmission is used between ToR - Leaf and Spine switches, the transmission distance is greater than 30m. The server is connected to the TOR switch using AOC/DAC and the transmission distance is about 3 to 5 meters.
